What is the process for reserving a puppy from an upcoming litter?
The first step in securing a pup from an upcoming litter is to submit a Puppy Application via email.
After reviewing your application one of our trainers will discuss your needs and the particulars of your hunting style and home/family that your pup will become a part of when you pick him/her up from our kennel. The next step is an executed contract. Our contracts include a health guarantee and a 26-month genetic defect warranty as well as any desired training for your new fur buddy.
If you are interested in a young pup (no training) as 25% non-refundable deposit submitted with an executed contract will secure your pup.

Do you force fetch your dogs?
Absolutely not. While force fetch may be the motto for other trainers or kennels our philosophy rests on the 'nature of beast.' The genetics of a lab instill a natural instinct or 'drive' to retrieve. We believe in utilizing that natural instinct to produce a dog that loves to retrieve and desires to please his/her handler. Our training methods are humane. Labrador Retrievers were born to be hunting dogs - It's all in the name! To read more on our training philosophies please visit Our Training page.
Do you train dogs from other kennels?
While we have trained 'outside dogs' in the past, we no longer offer this service. We have been breeding our bloodlines for years and have nurtured specific qualities in all of our dogs. Our breeding practices have enabled our trainers to focus their talents on developing advanced skills rather than having to work with dogs whose genetics may not have been selected to the same degree as our own.
Do you offer payment plans?
We do offer payment plan options on our pups in training. You can secure your ISR pup by executing a contract with the down payment for the purchase price of your pup ($750 limited registration or $900 full registration + 2yr limited warranty). You will then be making regular payments while your pup completes his or her training. Your pup must be paid in full before s/he can be delivered.
I love your dogs but I live in another state. Do you ship your dogs?
Yes! Our dogs have even shipped outside the country. We use United Airlines PetSafe for delivery by air. Our kennel also offers ground transportation by our trainers. Having one of our trainers hand deliver your new hunting buddy right to your door has added benefits, including a live demo of the dog's skills (location permitting) and assistance in getting your dog transitioned to his/her new home with you.
How many litters does your kennel produce each year?
Our kennel will usually produce 1 or 2 litters each year. Producing a limited number of puppies allows our trainers to fully develop the potential of each and every pup that passes out our gate with the 'ISR' name. If the previous year's litter(s) sees dogs returning for Well Started or Finished Dog training we may not even produce a litter for that year. We are dedicated to producing top quality hunting buddies and the next furry member of your family.
